Holy cow this has been a crazy year!
We started the year off just Cameron and I (plus the pup) living in one city, and ended the year living in another city. With a whole extra person in our fam! And let me tell ya, Clara has been a whole lot of person(ality) to handle! : )
This sweet picture was taken when Clara was less than a day old. Isn’t she the most precious babe ❤️
Here’s the timeline of how the craziness unfolded:
March- Clara is born
When she was 1 week old we found out we would be moving from Nashville to Cleveland
April- Easter weekend (Clara was 3 weeks old) we purchased our first home and gave up apartment living. We actually ended up choosing the first home that we toured. I would not recommend that quick of a decision to others, but it worked out for us. Thank God because Cam and I were in that fog of new parent sleep deprivation, and enduring a long home search would have been torture!
May- Moving day!
Here is the front door of our new home! We have a tradition of snapping a pic of the door of each place we live together. There will be a pretty display of all the pictures in the future.
See how quickly that happened?! We definitely got lucky and were blessed with a relatively smooth process on that journey. Shout out to our real estate agent Amanda Malone with Keller Williams. Be sure to check her out if you’re looking for a home in the greater Cleveland area!
Other 2017 events:
*We celebrated our first wedding anniversary ❤️ 3 days before Clara was born
*Cam ran the Cleveland and Nashville marathons (stud).
* I have resumed running, but I am nowhere near marathon shape hah! I’ll be sure to blog in a future post about my exercise regime and how it has changed since having Clara.
* I found a new hobby and love in sewing that I never knew I had! I’ve had tons of fun creating clothes and accessories for my family. One of my 2018 goals is to bring my creations to others and I look forward to sharing with you all soon!
* We attended most CLE Indians home baseball games. Clara is a big fan of the Tribe!
We had the opportunity to go back to Northwest Arkansas on three occasions this year. Oh my has the area changed! Quite different than the cow fields all over the place when I was little. I’ll be sure to include some future posts on all of the new excitement in the area. Spoiler alert: If you’ve never visited the area, you’re going to need to change that pronto!
This year was definitely the best yet. Cheers to 2018!
